Chad opines on Ben Tribbett's man crush for Jim Webb, while Jim Riley over at Virginia Virtucon comments on what I've been wondering for the past week: Why are the Webb-bloggers backing down on their man? The last bastion of a sinking campaign is when its supporters start making up excuses before the election as to why their candidate did not win. Eerily, I had a conversation the other day with a friend as to why the Democrats are in such bad shape. The answer? They are in the same condition Republicans were in 1976 -- ideologically polarized, but no idea what to do about it. Jim also has an open thread on what NLS' new slogan will be after Webb's loss.
