- Way to go, Shaun! We've got a Flag Day post up as well.
On the afternoon of 9/11, while my wife and I were still living in Alexandria on the 17th floor of a high rise condo building -- the highest point south of D.C. along I-395 -- I draped my flag over the balcony as a big bulls eye to those cowards and to show that we as a nation were still standing.

- Thanks Old Zach. That is what I wanted to mention. The U.S. Army, the senior service, was born on June 14th, 1775. One full year BEFORE the Declaration of Independence birthed the nation. No Army, no Nation. As it was and as it is.
