Any time Shaun! Get a Dem House or Senate and see how fast that debt goes down...Not becuase they're dems but becuase they arnt of the presidents party!
We are in a war, so a little deficit spending is to be expected.
I can't believe I just said that.
I will say this though: I haven't seen any credible conservative suggest how we would cut $300 billion out of next year's budget.
I'm not saying we couldn't find $300 billion of money we don't want to spend, but it's so hard to cut spending that our best hope is to control increases and hope we can increase revenue by growing the economy.
I do however reject the "GOP" extra spending label, coming from the party whose idea of a "spending cut" is to increase taxes.
Didn't see Kaine suggest any state spending cuts so he could fund his billion-dollar road improvements.
The democratic congress didn't come close to balancing the budget.
Oh, and a lot of the spending increases during this administration happened while democrats controlled the Senate.
Nobody really opposed busting the budget for Homeland Security.
