Save The GOP: Santorum Back in the Saddle?

The folks over at Save the GOP are wondering how Casey blew a 20 point lead against Rick Santorum, and just to make matters worse the Green Party submitted 90,000 signatures to get on the ballot.

Pennsylvania just became a lot more interesting.

Ric's got some work still to do, but his problem has been his base, and I think the base is beginning to realise that some wounds are better left to heal (like Ric's supporting Arlen Specter).

Yeah... but that's one heck of a wound to heal though.

Still, that Pennsylvania is warming up for the GOP is a good sign for Republicans elsewhere. Maybe the Dems steam is running out?

Hooray for the GOP! They can't win on their own...so they enlist their ideological opposite hoping a Hail Mary will save them...good luck with that.

Hell, it ain't Republicans voting for the guy, and it isn't like the Dems haven't run third party candidates against Republicans, right?

Secondly, it sure as heck doesn't explain Casey's drop from 20 points, not to mention Democratic dissatisfaction concerning Casey's pro-life stance.

Motto of the Democratic Party: Ready, Fire, Aim!

Casey is still polling at 50%+. What the GOP wants to do is try to bring it down to 47-48% so their candidate has a shot.

Can you give me an example of Democrats solely funding a third party candidate to depress the numbers of a Republican candidate?

If you can offer an instance of Republicans solely funding a third party candidate...

Casey has kept a 10-12 point lead since last December... I dont know where your getting that 20 point non-sense (he may have blown a 20 point lead in a Democratic Primary, but thats very differant.)
