Monday, December 04, 2006 McDonnell for Senate? Folks have been talking... and I think it would be a great idea. That having been said, there are a couple other folks looking that way who are heavy-hitters indeed. Expect many, many names to be tossed into the fray if Warner chooses to retire in 2008. Of course, I fully expect the speculation on who the next Attorney General of Virginia might be if McDonnell runs (and wins) to be in full force in about 36 hours... McDonnell did indeed hold a "bloggers conference" at the Homestead while he was there. Plenty of Staunton bloggers there, and plenty of conversation about the medium and how we prefer to be engaged. Best part: McDonnell drove the entire conversation. Congressman Tom Davis was in the room as well. All it takes is a tar ahrn upside tha haid! At 5:32 PM, RightsideVA said... It was good to see the Attorney General interested in talking with the Conservative bloggers to ask their opinions. Also good to see Congressman Davis and Delegate Saxman interested in this new form of media also. Many have stated that "Bloggers" are not real sources of "news" but I feel blogs are like talking to somebody who was there and have an opinion and viewpoint. Everything must be taken with a "grain of salt" and I keep the large container of "Morton" next to the PC, but it is good to have another option then the local newspaper editor to decide what I should hear about...
