Bloggers 4 Gilmore Coming Unhinged?

Yikes... no one hand this man a shovel -- he's doing fine on his own.

But no worries... D.J. McGuire sets 'em straight:
The latest effort by Spank That Donkey to come to Jim Gilmore’s defense is, um, interesting. My continuing advocacy in favor of Delegate Bob Marshall is clearly getting to him. I would note, however, than even in his latest installment, Spanky can’t criticize Bob Marshall, and instead chooses to go after those of us who support him here in the blogosphere.
Bingo, though it is nice to see that Marshall's conervative credentials are so unassailable that the targets of the opposition become Marhsall's supporters, not his ideals.

Nixon would be proud, but poor Jim Gilmore is probably rolling his eyes. This is not the help he's looking for online...

You're absolutly right Shaun, B4G is digging itself a deep, deep, hole, staying postive and truthful in our campaign.

The contrast in our posts is amazing, come on over and take a look.

It seems Gov. Gilmore has an actual record of being an Attorney General and Chief Executive of Virginia to run on.

I am sure your candidate Del. Marshall was proud to have VOTED for Gov. Gilmore's ideas, and legislation that Jim successfully got enacted into law by the General Assembly.

You know, the largest return of tax dollars to the citizens of VA in history. Rolling back tuition at our colleges 20% and freezing it for four years. Putting in place an IG to bring more accountability to VDOT. All this while actually increasing spending on K-12 education.

Yes, I am sure Del. Bob Marshall was proud to vote for all of that.

You say I am coming unhinged, it is more like I am coming to see the light that a former DOC for the RPV and B4M member is going to conduct a 'slash and burn' campaign on a fellow Conservative Republican.

You can put all the lipstick on the pig you want. We're positive because we have reason to be. We have the best candidate to beat Gov. Mark Warner in November.

Truth be told, it's only one blogger so far, Shaun. No need to tar the whole bunch.

Look, I know there's "buyers remorse" from supporting Gilmore against Davis... then watching Saxman come close then back out, only to have a similarly strong conservative jump in the race in the end.

...just don't take it out on the grassroots for biding their time, eh?

And you're right D.J. -- it is only one blogger in the unauthorized bunch of bloggers... still, I can't imagine this style of rhetoric is helpful to Jim's efforts, either in the short or long term.

Really Shaun, I can't imagine how running a completely negative campaign against Gov. Gilmore is exactly making yourself and DJ look like shining stars?

Meanwhile, the 'unauthorized' B4G will continue our 'unauthorized' positive campaign. Please accept my apologies for having to point out to both of you exactly how negative your posts have become.

No "buyer's remorse" here, Shaun. I am strongly in Jim Gilmore's corner. National security is my number one concern, and Gov. Gilmore has proven he has what is needed in a "war on terrorism" world.

In fact, I have not talked with anyone who is sorry they backed Gov. Gilmore. They are all excited about his candidacy ... and more are joining in daily.

No "buyer's remorse" here either. I am strongly in Jim Gilmore's corner. Marshall really has no chance of defeating Warner, Gilmore does and will
