It's an uphill fight... and Washington probably understands that she's the underdog. Nevertheless, there's no way Pollard will be able to run the nasty, divisive race he ran against his opponent in the general election -- newly elected State Senator Richard Stuart. In special elections, the name of the game is turnout for the upcoming election, not the one prior -- so there's no buying the old "he won this seat before" tripe. Add to the mix one Senator Stuart and one Congressman Wittman plus the 1st District Republican Committee... it's going to be a fun race. Time to put this one away!
